REPORT ON REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION 2025

“Ye Tiranga Aan Hai,

      Ye Tiranga Abhimaan Hai”

Don Bosco High School and Junior College, Lonavla, celebrated the 76th Republic Day of our nation on 26 January 2025 with great pride and enthusiasm, honouring our heroes and freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the country.

The celebrations began in the school hall at 8:00 am with the hoisting of the national flag by our Chief Guest, Mr. Bhagwan Dhau Hole, who has dedicated 50 years of his life to serving Don Bosco Lonavla as part of the support staff. The hoisting of the flag was accompanied by the singing of the national anthem. The sight of everyone saluting the national flag created a solemn and patriotic ambiance on the premises.

The second part of the celebration featured a vibrant programme organized by the school. Students sang patriotic songs and delivered inspiring speeches, evoking a sense of pride and love for the nation.

The programme concluded with messages from our Chief Guest, Mr. Bhagwan Dhau Hole, and the Rector, Fr. Blany Pinto, followed by a vote of thanks delivered by the School Captain, Master Nathan D’Mello.
