The Inter-House Dramatics Competition was held on Friday, 13 September 2024. The theme was based on Don Bosco’s dreams. The beautiful backdrop read, “Don Bosco the Dreamer.” Out of the 40 published dreams, four dreams—Innocence Preserved by Penance, The Precious Handkerchief of Purity, The 14 Tables, and The Snake and the Rosary—were staged by the four houses: Yellow, Blue, Green, and Red House, respectively.
The judges were Ms. Veena Verma, a past pupil of Don Bosco, Lonavla, who is an architect by profession, an entrepreneur, and a theatre actor; and Mr. Darwin D’Souza, a past pupil of Don Bosco, Kuwait. The judges appreciated the hard work and efforts put in by the students. In their opinion, the participants left no stone unturned in justifying the elements of their one-act plays. Although it was challenging, the characterization in each act was executed with utmost perfection.
The Green House scored the highest and was declared the winner. Gauri Bornare from XI Arts was declared the Best Actor.
The competition was organized by Mrs. Pournima Kale, Cleric Pranit, Cleric Rohan and Ms. Bindu George, with the help of the house teachers, under the able guidance and assistance of the principal, Fr. Ranson D’Souza.
