Don Bosco’s Under-17 Cricket Team Claims Runner-Up Title

We are delighted to announce that, in an electrifying showcase of talent and collaboration, the Under-17 cricket team of Don Bosco High School & Junior College Lonavla emerged as the runner-up in the intensely competitive District Level Cricket Tournament held on Friday, 25 August 2023. The team battled against 70 other schools at the Subhash Chandra Bose Military School Ground, Alandi, Pune.

Leading by example, the team’s captain, Dev Patel, from class 10 B, demonstrated remarkable leadership both on and off the field. The astute strategic insights and unwavering dedication of the Coaches – Rahul Rathod and Sir Dinesh D’Souza – steered the team to the finals. The cricket team was truly fortunate to have the steadfast support of the School Management, the Principal, the School Staff, and their Parents.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to our Under-17 Cricket team and take immense pride in their incredible journey! As the saying goes, “Success is the result of hard work, determination, and a bit of luck.” This achievement stands as a testament to their commitment and perseverance, as the team embraced challenges and showcased true sportsmanship throughout the tournament.
